Consultant Paediatric and Neonatal Surgeon

Mr Choudhry started his initial paediatric surgery training in Dublin and continued his further specialist training in the UK; Oxford, Cambridge and Lewisham and Great Ormond hospital London. He started working as a consultant paediatric surgeon at Imperial College healthcare NHS London in 2009 and later moved to Chelsea and Westminster hospital London in 2010.  He is expert in advanced minimally invasive surgery (Keyhole) for simple and complex surgical procedures for all ages including newborns. He is an expert in paediatric colorectal surgery.

Professional Expertise

Day Case Surgery

Inguinal hernia and umbilical hernia, surgery for hydrocoele, tongue tie, undescended testicles, circumcision in new-born and older children.

​​Short-stay Surgery

 

Appendicitis, pyloric stenosis, abdominal cysts, gallbladder stones, intestinal polyps or other bowel problems.

New-born or neonatal conditions

Surgery tracheoesophageal fistula and atresia, other intestinal atresias, congenital diaphragmatic hernia, malrotation and abdominal cysts.

Complex gastrointestinal and thoracic surgery

Thoracoscopic surgery for congenital lung lesions, repair of diaphragmatic hernia, fundoplication and gastrostomies.

Special Interest in Paediatric Colorectal Surgery
